How do I use Elexity.com?
The simple answer is...you don't!! Elexity.com manages and maintains itself. There is no work for you or your staff to do, Elexity.com looks after everything for you. If you wish to access your elexity.com account for whatever reason, you can use any web browser that has access to the internet, 24 hours a day, 7 days week. You DO NOT need to purchase any other hardware or software to use elexity.com.
How does Elexity.com compare to other systems?
Elexity.com is the only solution that requires you to install NO hardware and NO extra telephone lines. We are the only solution that allows you 24 hour a day, 7 days a week access to your account from any web browser connected to the internet. Elexity.com does not charge a customer support fee, nor do we charge for upgrades or activation.
When will my patients be called?
All Elexity.com calls can be delivered between the times of 10:00am to 7:00pm. In general we send our calls during the course of morning and early afternoon. Through our many years of experience we know patients respond best to calls delivered during this time period.
What if my client's telephone line is busy or nobody is home?
No problem! Elexity.com will attempt to call each of your patients every 15 minutes for at least 6 attempts until the call has been delivered. You will be notified in every call detail report whether or not a recipient received a call.
How does Elexity.com handle answering machines or voicemail?
Elexity.com automatically detects answering machines and voicemail systems and leaves your message after the beep.

Is my information safe?
Elexity.com takes your privacy and security as its highest priority. We use a validated 128-bit strong encryption technology whenever any secure data is transmitted (such as credit card information). Your account information is also encrypted with 128-bit strong encryption to ensure against any compromise. Our facilities are protected with 7 layers of access security and access is only provided to members of our senior staff that are on a need-to-know basis only.
Do I need Broadband?
If you are an Elexity.com Appointment Confirmation customer it is necessary for you to have broadband/DSL in your office. If you utilize any of the other Elexity.com services, it is not necessary for you to need broadband, however it is recommended. To make this an easier process, Elexity.com can help you set this up with one of our preferred Broadband providers. We will take care of the installation and setup for you, all part of our service.
Can I leave messages for patients at their homes, either on an answering machine or with a family member, to remind them of appointments or to inform them that a prescription is ready?
Yes. The HIPAA Privacy Rule permits health care providers to communicate with patients regarding their health care. This includes communicating with patients at their homes, whether through the mail or by phone or in some other manner. In addition, the Rule does not health care providers from leaving messages for patients on their answering machines. Elexity.com effortlessly delivers all of your appointment confirmations by telephone call and email without your staff having to do a thing. elexity.com seamlessly integrates with your practice management system and is fully automated. Once all calls and emails are delivered, we provide your staff with a full delivery report status. When we say there is no work involved for your staff for this task, we mean, THERE IS NO WORK INVOLVED FOR YOU OR YOUR STAFF!
